The first team will compete again in the Wessex League Division One this season, which now boasts 21 teams, with the introduction of several new teams from different sources.
The league is now made up of the following teams, (new teams in bold):
AFC Stoneham, Alton Town, Andover New Street, Baffins Milton Rovers, Christchurch, Downton, East Cowes Victoria, Fleet Spurs, Folland Sports, Hamble Club, Hythe & Dibden, Laverstock & Ford, New Milton Town, Pewsey Vale, Ringwood Town, Romsey Town, Shaftesbury, Tadley Calleva, Totton & Eling, UNITED SERVICES PORTSMOUTH, Weymouth Reserves.
The league campaign gets underway after the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round, which takes place on August 6th. The first tie of the season is the same as last term, an away trip to Ringwood Town on the 13th August, the first home game is against Totton & Eling a week later with a midweek trip to Hythe & Dibden sandwiched between.
Once the Full Time site has been completed, the full fixture will be available on the website.
The first cup draw has been made and the Wessex League Cup gets underway with a trip to Bemerton Heath Harlequins, with the winners away at Lymington Town, meaning that once again there is no shortage of mileage to rack up in the early part of the season. The Bemerton Heath cup tie takes place at The Clubhouse on 13th September.
The club are still actively seeking support from local businesses across all squads, so get in touch if you are interested in supporting the club going forward via email at email@example.com.
